Norman L. Staab

1937-2020

Norman L. Staab, 82, formerly of Dorchester, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Aspirus Care and Rehabilitation in Medford. A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford on Friday, June 12, followed by a graveside service at Dorchester Memorial Cemetery North. Norman was born on Dec. 20, 1937, the son of Les and Lilian Staab. He was united in marriage to Arlene Schmidt and she preceded him in death on March 12, 2003. Norman worked as a logger and also was a farmer. He enjoyed being outside and tending his garden.

Norman is survived by his three children, Russell of Curtiss, Norma Cardinal of Rhinelander and Rickie (Michelle) of Dorchester; nine grandchildren, Brooke, Travis, Kimberly, Zeb, Casey, Samantha, Brittney, Rickie and Gavin; and two great-grandchildren.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Arlene.
