Donna Rozar announces candidacy for 69th State Assembly District

Donna Rozar, Wood County Board vice-chair and registered nurse/nurse educator, announced her candidacy for the 69th Assembly District.

“First, let me thank Representative Kulp for his years of service to this district. His commitment over those years is appreciated, as is his dedication to the district over the remaining months of his term. The people of the 69th Assembly District have benefitted from his advocacy in Madison on their behalf. I wish him every success with future endeavors,” Rozar said.

Rozar has been involved in Central Wisconsin politics for over 25 years. She serves on the Wood County Board of Supervisors in a variety of leadership positions and is active in her church, community, and the Republican Party of Wood County. She works on the cardiac medical/surgical unit at Marshfield Medical Center and is on the faculty at the UW-EC College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Marshfield site.

“I have been an effective leader on the county board and look forward to continuing to serve friends and neighbors in Marshfield as well as in Marathon and Clark counties. I have learned how special our communities are over the years and am eager to work with community members across the district to be a voice for the issues that are important to them. Taking the values of our communities to Madison is one of the reasons for my candidacy,” she said. “I look forward to meeting people across the 69th Assembly District and listening to their concerns,” she said.
