The Athens Trinity Lutheran Board of Christian Education is developing a database of graduates for the school.
The school would like to receive the graduate’s name (if applicable her maiden name), address, phone number, e-mail address and the year of graduation from Trinity Lutheran School in Athens.
Graduates are asked to email their information to alumni@trinityathens.net.
500 Club
The 500 Club met at the home of Carol Westphal on March 11.
Chocolate mint lasagna and coffee were served before playing.
Gayle Mauer won first place and Dolores Mauer took second. Barbara Rauen won the special prize.
The club will meet next on Wednesday, March 25, at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Alvira Henrichs.
Church fish fries
St. Anthony’s Catholic School in Athens will only have takeout fish fries available from 4:30-7 p.m. on Fridays, March 20 and April 3.
Carry-out fish fries are available for people to order by either calling 715-257-7541 or 715-257-7791.
There is a fee for people to eat the Friday fish fry that includes deep fried fish, baked fish, shrimp or combo, choice of potato, coleslaw and a dessert and beverage.
Senior Citizens
The Senior Citizens card group met on March 12 for weekly card playing at the Athens Area Fire and Ambulance Hall.
Two games of Sheepshead were played. David Perrodin won the first game and Pat Frank took second place. Alvira Henrichs won the second game and Sally Whaples placed second. Wil Strack received low score.
Athens Lions
The Athens Lions Club normally meets on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at Landmark Bar in downtown Athens.
People interested in attending the next meeting should contact an Athens Lions Club member to find out if it’ll be held and in what location.
