A count of disorderly conduct against Randy J. Karaba, 55, Owen, was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.
Trials slated
The following appeared in court and entered pleas of not guilty: Austin L. Krueger, 20, Spencer, theft of movable property greater than $2,500 but less than $5,000 (as a party to a crime); Brandon L. Drake, 30, Medford, two counts of knowingly violating a domestic abuse orderinjunction, three counts of felony bail jumping, two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping, misuse of a GPS device to obtain information, strangulation and suffocation, battery (domestic abuse-infliction of physical pain or injury), second-degree recklessly endangering safety and disorderly conduct; C.Y. Menashe, 31, Medford, two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety and carrying a handgun where alcohol is sold or consumed; Dakotta L. Euclide, 19, Medford, resisting or obstructing an officer; David L, Glenn, 30, Thorp, first degree child sec assualt-sexual contact with person under age of 13 and incest with a child; Davida L. Thompson a.k.a. Davida Hess, 45, Greenwood, theft of movable property less than or equal to $2,500 (as a party to a crime); John D. Tischer Jr., 41, Gilman, battery (domestic abuse-infl iction of physical pain or injury).
Forfeitures
Bruce L. Drangle, 81, Gilman, pled no contest to a reduced charge of speeding 16-19 mph and forfeited $200.50.
A separate charge of displaying a false vehicle registration plate against Drangle was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.
Phillip J. Fredrikson, 49, Medford, pled no contest to an amended charge of non-criminal disorderly conduct and forfeited $330.50. The original charge was criminal disorderly conduct.
Blaine J. Klabunde, 24, Lake Hallie, pled no contest to criminal damage and paid $763.50 in costs and restitution.
Probations ordered
Taylor W. Bryant, 19, Medford, pled no contest to criminal damage to property (as a party to a crime). Sentence was withheld and Bryant was place on probation for one year on the condition he pay a forfeiture of $712.58 and supervision fees as ordered by the Department of Corrections (DOC); obtain his GED/HSED (high school equivalency diploma); obtain/maintain full-time employment or enrollment in schooling; submit to a DNA sample; write a letter of apology, pre-approved by the probationary agent, to the victims within 30 days; and undergo any counseling as deemed appropriate by the probationary agent. Bryant is eligible for expungement if he successfully completes his probation. Bryant also pled no contest to a second count of criminal damage to property (as a party to a crime). Sentence was withheld and he was placed on probation for one year on the condition he pay a forfeiture of $43 and supervision fees as ordered by the DOC. All other conditions are the same as for his other probation. Counts of burglary of a building or dwelling (as a party to a crime), theft of movable property greater than $2,500 to $5,000 (as a party to a crime) and theft of movable property less than or equal to $2,500 (as a party to a crime) were dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes.
Paul R. Cwikla, 53, Owen, pled no contest to knowingly violating a domestic abuse order-temporary restraining order. Sentence was withheld and Cwikla was placed on probation for one year on the condition he pay a forfeiture of $643 and supervision fees as ordered by the DOC; submit to a DNA sample; and undergo counseling as deemed appropriate by the probationary agent.
