Nicole Gollon, 30, of Wausau, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of disorderly conduct, amended from forgery-uttering, and was ordered to pay $355.50.
Roger Gomez Maldonado, 19, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of OWI (1st). He was ordered to pay $976, DOT license was revoked for 7 months, and alcohol assessment was ordered. Charges of operating with a PAC =>.08 and <0.15 and possess open intoxicants in a motor vehicle - driver, were dismissed on prosector’s motion. He was also found guilty due to no contest plea of a county ordinance violation of resisting/obstructing an officer, amended from misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer and was ordered to pay $582.50. He was also found guilty due to a no contest plea of operating without carrying a license, amended from operating without a valid license (3rd + within 3 years) and was ordered to pay $393.50.
Casey Hartwig, 19, of Stetsonville, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of violating absolute sobriety law amended from OWI (1st), defendant was ordered to pay $389.50 and have license suspended for three months. Charges of minor transporting alcohol and possession of open intoxicants - driver were dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.
Tonya Hempe, 19, of Medford, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of operating a with a PAC >=.08 and < 0.15 (1st) and was ordered to pay $969.50, have her license revoked for six months, and undergo an alcohol assessment. A charge of violating absolute sobriety law was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion. She was also found guilty due to a guilty plea of possess open intoxicants in motor vehicle - driver and was ordered to pay $263.50.
Rocky Knight, 61, of Wisconsin Rapids, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of OWI (1st) and was ordered to pat $1,001. DOT license was revoked for 7 months and alcohol assessment was ordered. A charge of operating with a PAC >=.08 and <0.15 was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.
Jason McKelvey, 37, of Medford, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of operating while revoked, revoked due to alcohol, controlled substance, refusal and was ordered pay $443.
Elizabeth Mueller, 32, of Wausau, found guilty due to a guilty plea of possession of methamphetamine. Court orders a withheld sentence and places Mueller on probation for a period of two years. Conditions of probation are to pay the court costs, provide a DNA sample and pay the surcharge, undergo alcohol and other drug assessment and follow through with any recommended treatment and any counseling as deemed appropriate by the probation agent. All costs totaling $518 are to be paid directly to the Taylor County Clerk of Courts office in the amount of $25 a month beginning December 6, 2024.
Nikki Sherman, 42, of Ogema, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of OWI (1st) and was ordered to pay $1,082.50, have her license revoked for 7 months and undergo an alcohol assessment. Charges of refusing to take test for intoxication after arrest and operating with a PAC >=0.15 were dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.
James Zak, 71, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of disorderly conduct - domestic abuse and was ordered to pay $543.
Tylor Zondlo, 28, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of operating while revoked (revoked due to alcohol/controlled substance/refusal) and was ordered to pat $443. He was also found guilty due to a no contest plea of disorderly conduct - domestic abuse and was ordered to pay $679. Charges of operating a motored vehicle without insurance, displaying unauthorized vehicle registration plate, and non-registration of vehicle - auto <10,000 pounds were dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.
Deferred entry of judgement
A deferred entry of judgment agreement was accepted for Richard Austin, 60, of Medford, for a charge of neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur) and court holds the case open for one year. Along with the standard conditions of the deferred entry judgement, Austin is to cooperate with the Taylor County Human Services and comply with all recommendations made by that agency. Defendant shall also agree to sign a release with Taylor County Human Services so that they can share information with the District Attorney's office. Upon successful completion of the agreement the State will move to dismiss the charge. The state will move to dismiss the case early if the defendant provides written verification that the Chips case has been closed.
