Loyal School District invites community members to join task force, applications due Monday

The Loyal School District is inviting any interested community members to consider applying to join the Loyal Schools Strategic Planning Task Force. "As part of our continuous efforts to improve student success, we need your voice, insight, and ideas to help guide the direction of our schools," a press release from the school district stated.

The strategic planning process will involve determining the school district's priorities, and crafting a guiding document that will detail the district's goals and inform future decisions.

Members of the task force will participate in the following: - Help shape the schools' future by sharing their ideas and experiences.

- Collaborate with teachers, administrators and other community members to develop strategies for student achievement.

- Ensure all voices are heard, making Loyal Schools a place where every child thrives.

"Your involvement matters – whether you're a parent, guardian, or community member, your perspective is valuable to us," the press release stated.

The school district will hold a series of meetings designed to be flexible and respectful of the participants' time. Task force meetings are tentatively scheduled for the evenings of Jan. 8, Feb. 5 and April 9. Interested participants are asked to be able to attend all meetings.
