Kaye Baker

Kaye Baker, Cornell, passed away, Tuesday, March 18, 2025, surrounded by love and the cherished memories of a life well-lived.

Kaye was born March 21, 1950. She is lovingly remembered and survived by her three children – Ronnie (Sara) Baker, Missy Baker (Jess McChesney) and Matt (Becky) Baker; her legacy continues through her grandchildren – Jake (Elyce) Baker, Kelsey Baker, Brent (Keely) Baker, Dylan Drehmel, Brennen Baker and Katie Baker; her great-grandchildren – Carter, Bennett, Lennon and Ledger, each of whom she adored deeply; her devoted sisters – Lori (Bert) Miller-Robertson, Mary Beth (Paul) Craker and Cheryl Felmlee; brother – Scott Avery; and countless nieces and nephews, who held a special place in her heart.

She was proceeded in death by her husband – Ron; parents – Jim and Donna Avery; mother and father-in-law – Earl and Ruth Baker; brother – Larry; brothers- in-law – Jeff and Terry; and sister-in-law – Kathy.

Kaye’s warmth, spunk and unwavering strength, touched everyone she met. She will be dearly missed, but forever celebrated, by all who had the privilege to know her.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, at First Presbyterian Church in Cornell. Visitation began at noon, and went until the start of the service, at 2 p.m. Following the service, there was a celebration of life for Kaye, at Sweeney’s Y Go By Bar and Grill, in Cornell.
