Medford Cooperative is proud to announce the appointment of Erin Peterson as General Manager/CEO, effective January 31, 2025.
Erin Peterson will assume the General Manager/CEO role after being employed with the Medford Cooperative in various management and leadership roles over the course of the last 20 years. Most recently being promoted as the Director of Retail Services in August of 2024, Peterson became the Interim General Manager/ CEO in September after the resignation of the former General Manager/CEO.
Peterson attended school at Edgewood College before starting her retail management career with PDQ Food Stores in Madison, WI. After returning to the Rib Lake area, she joined Medford Cooperative and has been a key asset in store management, staff development and many processes across the retail services. She was integral to the launch of online shopping at Medford’s County Market, and many store programs such as the Member’s Save 8 Cents Off promotion and the Fuel Up with Points Card used by a local business. Peterson and her team were instrumental in transitioning new acquisitions into Medford Cooperative’s branding, policies and procedures. As the Director of Retails Services, she was responsible for overseeing nine retail locations with over 250 employees.
