Found guilty

Kalub Cooper, 21, of Dorchester, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of possession of THC. Court orders a straight sentence consisting of 5 days of county jail with Huber privileges and good time to begin no later than January 23, 2025 at 4:30 p.m., pay court costs and provide a DNA sample and pay the surcharge. Defendant has one day of sentence credit. Costs totaling $443 are to be paid directly to the Taylor County Clerk of Courts office in the amount of $60 a month.

Mariah Ditusa, 32, of Medford, was found guilty at a court trial of non registration of vehicle - auto <10,000 lbs, and was ordered to pay $175.30.

Rhaylin Mercedes Moreta, 20, of Medford, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of disorderly conduct as an ordinance violation, amended from misdemeanor disorderly conduct and was ordered to pay $330.50.

Jarveus Robinson, 26, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of possession of THC. A charge of bail jumping - misdemeanor was dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes and a charge of failure to keep vehicle under control was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion. Court orders a withheld sentence and places defendant on probation for one year. Conditions of probation are to pay the court costs, provide a DNA sample and pay the surcharge, undergo alcohol and other drug assessment and follow through with any recommended treatment, attend counseling as deemed appropriate by the probation agent. All costs totaling $443 are to be paid directly to the Clerk of Courts office in the amount of $125 a month beginning January 2.

Michael Strobach, 43, of Rib Lake, was found guilty due to no contest plea of operating without a valid license, amended from operating while revoked (revoked due to alcohol/controlled substance/refusal 4th+) and was ordered to pay $267.50.

Scot Vahl, 38, of Stratford, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of operating with a restricted controlled substance (1st) and operating while suspended. Charges of OWI (1st) and possess illegally obtained prescription were dismissed on prosecutor’s motion. Per terms of a plea agreement, court orders a forfeiture of $1,150, blood draw fee of $33, 9 month driver’s license revocation, alcohol and other drug assessment and follow through with the driver safety plan. For operating while suspended, court orders a forfeiture of $200.50. All costs are to be paid directly to the Taylor County Clerk of Courts office. Costs are added to his current plan, but increasing to $50 a month with the next payment on January 23, 2025.

Pedro Cisneros Alvarado, 29, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea to inattentive driving, amended from reckless driving - endanger safety, and was ordered to pay $187.90.

Ronald Faude, 17, of Medford, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of minor transporting intoxicants in a motor vehicle and was ordered to pay $263.50.

Ronald Faude, 17, of Medford, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of violating absolute sobriety law, amended from OWI 1st with passenger <16 years old, and was ordered to pay $456.50, DOR license suspended for three months and must undergo an alcohol assessment.

Skylarr Graveen, 17, of Rib Lake, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of unreasonable and imprudent speed and was ordered to pay $213.10. He was also found guilty of anti-noise (tires or mufflers) and was ordered to pay $187.90.

Arianne Kreger, 30, of Kent, Ohio, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of speeding in 55 mph zone (16-19 mph), amended from exceeding speed zones (1619 mph) and was ordered to pay $200.50. She was also found guilty due to a no contest plea of inattentive driving and was ordered to pay $187.90 and was found guilty of possession of controlled substances and was ordered to pay $263.50. Charges of refusal to take test for intoxication after arrest and operate with a restricted controlled substance (1st) were dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

Ashton Makovsky, 20, of Prentice, was found guilty of speedometer violations, amended from unreasonable and imprudent speed, and was ordered to pay $175.30.

Aron Molitor, 24, of Dorchester, was found guilty due to no contest plea of unsafe turn at intersection, amended from operator violating red traffic light, and was ordered to pay $175.30.

Parker Leffel Transport Inc., was found guilty of violating Class A highway weight limits and was ordered to pay $312.30.

Barrett Timm, 39, of Stanley, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of operating without a valid license, amended from operating while revoked, revoked due to alcohol, controlled substance/refusal and was ordered to pay $267.50.

Kenney Tommie, 48, of Medford, was found guilty of disorderly conduct, amended from resisting/obstructing an officer and was ordered to pay $263.50.

Glenroy Vanlannen, 23, of Merrill, was found guilty of possession of marijuana, amended from possession of THC, and was ordered to pay $355.50. A charge of felony bail jumping was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

Evan Wantlin, 19, of Medford, was found guilty of unreasonable noise, amended from operating while suspended, and was ordered to pay $169.

Dismissed

A charge of first degree child sexual assault - sexual contact or sexual intercourse with a person under age of 13 against Ramon Andres Hernandez-Zambrano, 47, of Medford, was dismissed without prejudice on prosecutor’s motion.

Deferred prosecution

A deferred prosecution agreement was approved for Steven Heffner, 68, of Medford, for failure to keep vehicle under control.

A deferred prosecution agreement was approved for Sierra Steen, 34, of Gilman, for hit and run property adjacent to highway, inattentive driving, and failure to keep vehicle under control.

Pleas Entered

Justin Bargenquast, 34, of Withee, pled not guilty to disorderly conduct - domestic abuse.

Sam Knuth, 22, of Owen, pled not guilty to battery - domestic abuse and criminal damage to property.

Barbara Lackershire, 41, of Ogema, pled not guilty to theft of movable property <= $2,500.

Jeremy Mayotte, 44, of Medford, pled not guilty to two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.

On January 2, a divorce was granted in Taylor County Circuit Court to David Kenney of Medford and Mi Kenney of Medford.

A divorce was granted on January 9 to Heidi Sue Schulz-Johnas of Medford and Rudolph James Johnas of Merrill.
