Cadott falls in away game to a tough Rambler squad
By Ginna Young
Cadott’s girls basketball program hit the road, Dec. 20, to take on Regis, in a West Cloverbelt Conference match-up, but offense was at a premium in the first half for the Hornets. They scored only nine points, compared to the 31 put on the board by Regis.
By the second half, Cadott had found their rhythm, but couldn’t quite catch up to the Ramblers and in the end, the bout went to the home team, 73-40.
Taylor Hager, Cadott junior, took top honors in scoring, with 18 points, while seniors Tarynn Donahue and Kasey Moldrem each added 6. Senior McKenna Steinke and junior Lilly Spaeth each recorded 4 points, and senior Brooklyn Hrdlicka chipped in with 2.
The Hornets now sit at 6-4 on the year and 2-3 in the league.
