Found guilty

Kayden Adams, 28, of Cadott, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of OWI (2nd). A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes. Charges of operating with PAC (2nd), operating while suspended, failure of operator to notify police of an accident, and failure to keep vehicle under control were dismissed. Court ordered the following: a fine in the amount of $1,592; 12-month driver's license revocation; ignition interlock device installation; $33 blood draw reimbursement; alcohol and other drug assessment and completion of a driver safety plan; five days county jail with Huber privileges and good time (earned two days sentence credit), to report no later than February 5, 2025 at 4:30 p.m.. Total due is $1,625. Defendant to set up a payment plan with the Taylor County Clerk of Court's Office at the rate of $50 per month to start no later than December 20.

Duane Dahm, 61, of Boyd, was found guilty due to guilty plea of disorderly conduct - domestic abuse as a county ordinance violation amended from misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Gary Mann, 46, of Stetsonville, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of disorderly conduct amended to remove the domestic abuse enhancer. Court orders a $100 fine plus payment of court costs and a DNA sample and surcharge fee. Total amount due is $579. Defendant to set up a payment plan with the Taylor County Clerk of Court's office at the rate of half on December 16 and the remaining balance on January 16, 2025.

Brett McNulty, 41, of Chippewa Falls, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of possession of drug paraphernalia, and was ordered to pay $263.50. A charge of possession of controlled substance was dismissed.

Dorian Reynolds, 24, of Glen Flora, was found guilty of possession of controlled substance and was ordered to pay $263.50.

Joshua Rivera Rivera, 29, of Chippewa Falls, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of speeding on city highway (11-15 mph), and was ordered to pay $175.30.

Sara Spanbauer, 40, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of disorderly conduct, and was ordered to pay $263.50.

William Wagner, 46, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of possession of drug paraphernalia and was ordered to pay $263.50. A charge of possession of controlled substance was dismissed.

Jenny Wagner, 51, of Medford was found guilty due to a no contest plea of possession of drug paraphernalia and was ordered to pay $263.50. A charge of possession of controlled substance was dismissed.

Deferred entry of judgment

A deferred entry of judgement (DEJ) agreement was approved for Craig Solberg, 65, of Milton, for battery - domestic abuse. Court makes a finding of guilty to the amended Count 1, Misdemeanor Battery, Domestic Abuse. Court orders the bond be modified to allow out of state travel. Court accepts the DEJ agreement for a period of one year. Along with the standard conditions of the DEJ, defendant shall undergo an alcohol and other drug assessment and follow through with treatment recommendations and provide proof completion to the district attorney’s office prior to the expiration of the agreement; defendant must attend anger management counseling and provide proof of attendance to district attorney’s office prior to the expiration of this agreement; defendant must write a letter of apology to the victim.

Dismissed

Charges of OWI (1st) and operating with a PAC >=.15 against David Benavidez Vaca, 45, were dismissed and were merged into criminal traffic case from charges of vehicle operator flee/elude officer, a class H felony. A pretrial conference for that case will be held on January 16 at 1 p.m.

A charge of operating without a valid license was dismissed against Travis Tanner Flight, 33, of Portage.

Plea entered

Anthony Burkman, 35, of Sheldon, pled not guilty to battery - domestic abuse, and disorderly conduct - domestic abuse. A status hearing is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. on January 13 in the Taylor County Courthouse.

Divorces granted

On December 2, a divorce was granted to Luke Freeman of Stetsonville and Ashley Freeman of Stetsonville.

On December 9, a divorce was granted to Brittney Homer of Medford and Richard Homer of Medford.
