On July 20 at 1:58 p.m., a vehicle operated by Mason Marmaduke, 16, of Rib Lake, was traveling west on CTH M in the town of Greenwood. Marmaduke looked in his rear view mirror, and when he looked back up, he saw a deer, so he swerved to miss it. The vehicle operated by Marmaduke hit a mailbox on the north shoulder of CTH M. Marmaduke then over corrected. The vehicle crossed the center line and rolled over numerous times before coming to rest on its roof in the south ditch facing east. A witness observed all of this. Marmaduke was suspected of having a broken left arm/wrist and was transported by ambulance to Medford Aspirus. The vehicle was left in the ditch as it was not a road hazard. CRASH REPORTS

On July 20 at 2:12 p.m., a vehicle operated by Isaac Sanchez, 29, of Stanley, was southbound on STH 73 in the town of Roosevelt. A vehicle operated by Jeff Makovsky, 58, of Thorp, was southbound on STH 73 and making a left (east) turn. The vehicle operated by Sanchez failed to slow down and struck the trailer pulled by the vehicle operated by Makovsky. The vehicle operated by Sanchez came to rest in the middle of County Line Rd. The vehicle operated by Makovsky pulled to the shoulder of County Line Rd. Sanchez sustained a suspected minor injury. Sanchez was issued citations for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and for operating without a valid license (1st violation).

On July 19 at 1:23 p.m., a vehicle operated by Lynette Barton, 67, of Medford was traveling westbound on Perkins when it struck a parked trailer owned by Jessie Mudgett of Park Falls. Barton stated she 12 the distance between the vehicle she was driving and the parked trailer.

On July 19 at 4:06 p.m., a vehicle operated by Ian Anderson, 17, of Ogema, had brake problems while Anderson attempted to park in the parking lot at AK Outdoors in the town of Medford. The vehicle operated by Anderson struck the AK Outdoors building. The vehicle did not sustain any damage. AK Outdoors received damage to the east wall. On July 18 at 6:54 p.m., a vehicle operated by Peter Fitzl, 58, of Loyal, was traveling northbound on STH 13 in the town of Westboro towing a 21' enclosed trailer when the vehicle began to overtake an uninvolved vehicle. Fitzl increased speed to pass the uninvolved vehicle that he estimated had been traveling approximately 50 mph. The trailer towed by Fitzl began to fishtail and Fitzl lost control of the vehicle. The trailer detached from the vehicle and struck the west guardrail face where it came to rest facing northwest. The vehicle spun around to face south-east when it struck the west guardrail face and came to rest facing southeast. On July 16 at 1:15 a.m., a vehicle operated by Jack Hempe Jr., 49, of Rib Lake, was traveling southbound on CTH C in the town of Greenwood. Hempe Jr. advised that he had fallen asleep and crossed the center line and entered the east ditch. The vehicle operated by Hempe Jr. struck the side of the driveway before coming to a rest in the driveway itself. The vehicle sustained functional damages.
