animals, especially his goat, Buddy, and his dogs, who brought him endless joy and companionship.

His favorite time of year was when the suckers started running at Spirit Falls. When he wasn’t outside, he liked to visit the casino or work on various wood projects. A true craftsman at heart, he had an incredible ability to create beautiful things with his hands. He was not only a dedicated father, son, and brother but also a friend who would do anything to help those around him.

He is survived by his son, Joey; daughter, Hailey Hess; three grandchildren; mother, Marlene; and brother, Cory. He was preceded in death by his father, Gene; brother, Lonnie; paternal grandparents, Delton and Vaughan Bleck; and maternal grandparents, Melvin and Violet Nikkila.

There will be a Graveside Service at Levitt Creek Cemetery in Ogema at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024. Following the service there will be a luncheon at the VFW Hall, N8835 Highway 13, Westboro, WI 54490. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
