Helen Lindner
Helen Mary (Kaiser) Lindner, 94, passed away on Aug. 10, 2024, at Acorn Hill Senior Living Community. Helen was born on Aug. 22, 1929, the daughter of Frank Andrew and Anna Catherine (Strohman) Kaiser.
She was united in marriage to Frank A. Lindner on July 30, 1952, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Stratford. They owned and operated a dairy farm on Owen Road in Loyal until their retirement in 1989, at which time they moved to the city of Loyal. Helen later moved to Mosinee, after Frank’s death in 2016.
Helen enjoyed spending time with family and friends, quilting, sewing, making extra stuffed hot pads, embroidery, fishing, reading, traveling and she loved to sing. She had a deep love of her faith and her family.
Pallbearers will be her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her children: Paul (Kathy) Lindner, Rochester, Minn., Susan M. Durst (fiancé Dan Palmer) Mosinee, Gerald (Cindy) Lindner, Lino Lakes, Minn., Therese (Jerome) Meyer, Austin, Texas, and Robert (Anne) Lindner, Rochester, Minn.; grandchildren: Darren (Liz) Lindner, Deanna (Derek) Petersen, Anna Rose Durst, Jared and Steven Lindner, Kendra (Keith) White, Jonathon and Thomas Meyer, and Ryann, Sarrah and Morganne Lindner; great-grandchildren: Jonah and Lily Lindner, Desmond and Dominic Petersen; siblings: Thomas (Sandra) Kaiser, Dora (Lawrence) Herkert and Sr. Catherine Kaiser; sisters-in-law: Janet Kaiser, Betty Lou Kaiser, Helen Esselman and Josephine Lindner; and many nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Lindner; parents, Frank and Anna Kaiser; brothers, Eugene Kaiser, Rev. Roman Kaiser, James A. Kaiser and Hilary (Larry) Kaiser; sister, Cecelia (Kaiser) Townsend; and in-laws: John Townsend, Richard Esselman, Lawrence Lindner, Edward Lindner, Joseph Lindner, William Lindner; Eleanor Lindner, Loretta Lindner, Genevieve (Fred) Budzisz, James (Arlene) Lindner and Bernard (Bernadine) Lindner; and son-in-law, John J. Durst.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal. Father Emmanuel Famiyeh will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church starting at 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jane Ziemanski, NP, and the staff at Marshfield Clinic Health System in Mosinee, Interim Hospice Home Health and to the staff at Acorn Hill Senior Living Community for helping to provide the extra special care to Mom. She truly had a special place in her heart for each and every one of you.
