Patricia Hessing

1938-2021

Patricia Hessing, 83, passed away on May 26, 2021. There will be a service to bury Pat’s ashes at 10:30 am on Saturday, August 14th at Evergreen Cemetery II.

Pat was born to John and Bernice Sibbald on Jan. 12, 1938 in Madison. She graduated from Marshfield High School and attended Northland College. She married her childhood sweetheart, James Hessing in Oct., 1959. They moved to Minneapolis where they raised their three children, Susan, Laurie and James. In the mid seventies Pat returned to school to earn an accounting degree. She worked for the State of Minnesota Department of Revenue for 25 years. Jim and Pat enjoyed 61 years of marriage. They retired to their lake home in Grand Rapids, Minn. in 2002 and began wintering in Bradenton, Fla. a short time later.

Family meant everything to Mom and she was the heart of ours. She will be missed by each of us every day. Pat is survived by her husband, James; their three children; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Pat is also survived by her sister Nancy Anderson of Oshkosh.
