Russ Sime

Russ Sime, 79, peacefully took his final breath at home, Saturday, May 4, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Russ lived a full and memorable life, filled with lots of love and laughter. Born in Stanley, June 27, 1944, Russ grew up on the family farm in Boyd, alongside his 11 brothers and sister. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing on the Yellow River and woodworking. He never shied away from a challenge and was one Hell of a craftsman. Russ was always ready to help with any project his kids could dream up. He is dearly missed and survived by his wife – Nan; his kids – Stacey, Andi and Jordan; his many siblings; grandkids; and extended family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, May 19, at the Old Ptacek’s Center in Prescott, for anyone who wishes to attend.
