Judith L. Cihasky, 80, Rib Lake, and a legally-parked and unoccupied vehicle owned by Geoffrey M. Henderson, South Lake Tahoe, Calif., were involved in an accident on June 26 at 6:30 p.m. at W2953 Rustic Road No. 1 in the town of Rib Lake. According to the accident report, the Cihasky vehicle was parked on a sloped driveway behind the Henderson vehicle. As the driver of the Cihasky vehicle was shifting from park to reverse to back up, the vehicle rolled forward and struck the rear of the Henderson vehicle. The Cihasky vehicle sustained damage to the front. The Henderson vehicle sustained minor damage to the rear.
Martin J. Dums, 59, Rib Lake, and a vehicle owned by Richard W. Meyer, Chicago, Ill., were involved in an accident on July 3 at 9:55 p.m. on Hwy 102 in the village of Rib Lake. According to the accident report, both vehicles were parked on the shoulder of the northbound lane of traffic. The report states that, according to witnesses, the Dums vehicle was attempting to leave when it struck the legally-parked and unoccupied Meyer vehicle in front of it. The report went on to state Dums exited the vehicle and left the area on foot, but later returned to the scene. The report further stated Dums completed a standardized field sobriety test and was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense. The Meyer vehicle sustained minor damage to the left side of the rear bumper. There was no damage to the the Dums vehicle. Dums was issued citations for operating while under the influence and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
Michael P. Rudnick, 42, Thorp, and Leigh E. Sahlin, 80, Lublin, were involved in an accident on June 24 at 1:26 p.m. on Hwy 73 in the town of Roosevelt. According to the accident report, a farm tractor operated by Rudnick was northbound on Hwy 73 towing a piece of farm equipment and making a right turn into a field when it was struck from behind by the Sahlin vehicle. Rudnick sustained possible injuries and was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire for medical treatment. Sahlin sustained suspected serious injuries and was transported by air to Marshfield Medical Center-Marshfield for medical treatment. The Sahlin vehicle sustained damage to the front, right front corner, right side front, right side middle, left front corner and left side front. It was towed from the scene. Sahlin was issued a citation for failure to keep vehicle under control.
Matthew K. Sislo, 21, Medford, was involved in an accident on July 9 at 4:35 a.m. on CTH C in the town of Goodrich. According to the accident report, the Sislo vehicle was southbound on CTH C when a deer ran into the roadway. The driver applied the brakes and the vehicle began to fishtail. The vehicle entered the ditch and rolled onto the driver side, coming to a stop leaning against a tree. Sislo sustained possible injuries, but was not transported for medical treatment.
Braeden J. Long, 16, Medford, and a vehicle owned by Aaron P. Brockhaus, Medford, were involved in a hit-and-run accident on June 24 at 6 p.m. in the parking lot at N2319 Hwy 13 in the town of Little Black. According to the accident report, the Long vehicle was backing out of a parking space and struck the legally-parked and unoccupied Brockhaus vehicle. Long then left the scene without checking either vehicle for damage, but later returned after being recalled to the scene. Long stated the brakes on his vehicle were faulty and did not properly engage as he was backing up. The Long vehicle sustained minor damage to the right side rear. The Brockhaus vehicle sustained damage to the front and right front corner. Operating a motor vehicle in an inattentive, careless or erratic manner by Long was listed in the report as a factor in the accident. He was issued a citation for hit-and-run to an unattended vehicle.
Justine A. Jenness, 23, Sheldon, was involved in an accident on June 30 at 7:05 a.m. on CTH M in the town of Pershing. According to the accident report, the Jenness vehicle was eastbound on CTH M when a deer ran into the roadway. The driver applied the brakes and the vehicle skidded sideways into the ditch where it struck and went over a field access driveway before coming stuck in a corn field. Jenness and an infant passenger in the vehicle sustained possible injuries but were not transported for medical treatment. The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front, left rear corner, left front corner and undercarriage.

Cameron L. Sullivan, 22, Jim Falls, on July 8 at 12:07 a.m. on CTH H in the town of Aurora.
Deanna R. McVicker, 53, Gilman, on July 9 at 2:41 p.m. on Hwy 64 in the village of Gilman.
