Fernando Najera, 44, Medford, pled no contest to resisting/obstructing an officer and forfeited $582.50. A count of disorderly conduct-domestic abuse was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.

Cory H. Svee, 61, Elk Mound, pled no contest to an amended charge of speedometer violations and forfeited $175.30. The original charge had been speeding 1-10 mph over the limit.

Sabrina L. Wert, 28, Wausau, pled no contest to failure to keep vehicle under control and failure of operator to notify police of an accident. She forfeited $213.10 and $389.50, respectively.

Probation ordered

Makayla E. Hester, 20, Medford, pled no contest to substantial battery-intending bodily harm. Sentence was withheld and Hester was placed on probation for three years on the condition she pay a forfeiture of $518, restitution in an amount to be determined within 30 days and supervision fees as ordered by the Department of Corrections; submit to a DNA sample; have no contact with the victims; write a letter of apology, preapproved by probation, to the victims within 30 days of sentencing; and undergo counseling as deemed appropriate by probation. Two counts of felony bail jumping and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping were dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes.

Separate charges of felony bail jumping, child abusehigh probability of great harm, criminal damage to property, resisting or obstructing an officer and two counts of disorderly conduct against Hester were dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes.
