Woodchucks bring annual clinic to Medford July 17

Baseball and softball players ages 5-14 are invited to attend a free instructional clinic with the Wisconsin Woodchucks, courtesy of Wisconsin Chevy Dealers.

The clinic will be held in Medford on Wednesday, July 17 at the Jaycee Field diamond at the intersection of Allman Street and Billings Avenue. Check-in is at 9 a.m. and clinic rotations will run from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Special needs participants ages 5 and up are welcome to attend. The clinic is open to kids of all skill levels. Participation in a league is not required to attend. Qualified coaching staff will separate participants into age groups and rotate them through drills to learn and enhance essential baseball and softball skills.

Here’s how to secure your spot on the baseball diamond: 1. Go to chevy.com/youthsports.

2. Click on the gold “Clinic Registration” box, and then click “Register Now.”

3. Select the following name from the dropdown menu: “Wausau.”

4. Enter the registration password “playball” for free entry into the clinic, and then click “Submit.”

5. Select “Register Now” for the session you'd like to attend.

6. Complete the parent/guardian information, then add your participant(s) information on the following page, then select “Next.”

7. Sign the digital waiver, then select “Complete Registration.”

8. Check your email (including your spam) for your registration information. Participants are required to bring the waiver form to the day of the clinic.
