UNIT # 1 WAS EASTBOUND ON STH 64 WHILE UNIT # 2 WAS WESTBOUND. THE OPERATOR OF MESSING AROUND AND PLAYING WITH HER DOG WHICH WAS IN THE BACKSEAT. THE OPERATOR INATTENTIVE. UNIT # 1 CROSSED OVER THE CENTERLINE INTO THE WESTBOUND LANE OF STH CRASH, BY GOING LEFT. Diagram On April 29 at 3:44 p.m., a vehicle driven by Jordon Baeza, 21, of Medford, was traveling westbound on Spruce St. A vehicle driven by Barrett Timm, 38, of Stanley, was traveling southbound on S. Park Ave. Baeza failed to yield for the yield sign located at the intersection of S. Park Ave. and Spruce St. causing the front end of the Timm vehicle to make contact with the passenger side of the Baeza vehicle. Baeza continued driving into the yard of 305 S. Park Ave., driving over a yield sign. The driver stated she took a wrong turn causing her to not pay attention to the road signs. Timm had a large red mark on his back caused from the crash. City public works was notified of the broken yield sign and oil leaking in the road from the Timm vehicle. Timm was ticketed for operating while revoked (revoked due to alcohol/controlled substance/refusal).

were parked in the Medford Plaza Parking lot in the city of Medford. The units were parked across the aisle from each other. Both units were backing out of their parking spaces and came into contact with each other.

On April 27 at 11:16 a.m. A vehicle driven by Thai Lee Lampe, 24, of Withee, was northbound on CTH E in the town of Medford and signaled to turn east onto Center Ave. A vehicle driven by Alan Dums, 63, of Bloomington, Minn. was behind the Lampe vehicle, waited for another vehicle to pass then overtook the Lampe vehicle on the left. Lampe signaled a left turn and turned into the Dums vehicle as the Dums vehicle overtook the Lampe vehicle.

On April 20, at 9 a.m., a vehicle operated by Eugene McKinney Jr., 54, of Deerbrook was traveling westbound on Hwy 64 in the town of Browning. The McKinney vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a vehicle driven by Leon Handschke, 76, of Phillips, which was eastbound on Hwy 64. The McKinney vehicle struck the Handschke vehicle with the front drivers side of the vehicle towards the rear drivers side of the McKinney vehicle. Handschke continued eastbound entering the north ditch and overturning on its side. According to the crash report, McKinney advised they crossed the centerline due to being distracted by a video chat on a mobile phone. McKinney was cited for inattentive driving and operating left of center.

On April 25 at 10 p.m. a vehicle driven by Dane Kilty, 18, of Abbotsford, struck a deer while traveling southbound on Hwy 13 in the town of Little Black.

On April 29 at 10:46 a.m., A vehicle driven by Megan Becker, 23, of Medford was eastbound on Hwy 64 in the town of Browning while a vehicle operated by Nancy Ploeckelman, 72, of Abbotsford was westbound. According to the crash report, Becker was turned around in her seat and started messing around and playing with her dog which was in the backseat. Becker was not watching the road and being inattentive and crossed the centerline into the westbound lane of Hwy 64. Ploeckelman attempted to evade the crash by going left. The passenger side front of the Becker vehicle struck the passenger side front of the other vehicle in the middle of Hwy 64. The Becker vehicle spun around 180 degrees coming to a stop partially in the north ditch of Hwy 64 facing southsouthwest. The Ploeckelman vehicle also spun 180 degrees coming to a stop partially in the south ditch of Hwy 64 facing north-northeast. Both operators were injured along with another passenger Dale Ploeckelman, 76, of Abbotsford who was inside of the Ploeckelman vehicle. All three individuals were medically transported by ambulance. In addition to law enforcement, firefighters from the Medford Area Fire Department responded. The road was closed for about an hour. Becker was cited for inattentive driving and operating left of center.
