A vehicle operated by Brandon Rice, 29, of Wisconsin Rapids, was traveling northbound on Hwy 13. A vehicle driven by Dawson Westrich, 23, of Medford, was traveling southbound on Hwy 13. Rice went to make a left hand turn onto CTH O believing that Westrich was stopped. Westrich’s vehicle impacted with Rice’s vehicle. Rice’s vehicle spun and ended up facing eastbound in the middle of the roadway. Westrich’s vehicle rolled and came to rest in the western ditch, facing northbound. Both drivers were transported by Emergency Medical Services. Rice was cited for failure to yield right of way while making a left turn and Westrich was cited for failure to wear a seatbelt. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
