The Rainbow Gymnastics Club of Medford claimed team championships in Level 4 and Level 6 and got an individual championship from Ruby Holtman in Level 5 competition at the Jan. 28 Antigo Twisters Invitational.

Holtman earned 36.4 all-around points from the judges in her four events to outscore Allie Seehafer of Hub City Gymnastics from Marshfield (35.2). Holtman was first on the uneven bars with a 9.15 and on the balance beam with a 9.0. She was second on vault with her 9.3 and in the floor exercise with an 8.95.

The team title in Level 6 came with the combined efforts of Brooke Buechel, Jordyn Grant and Rylee Hartwig, who took third, fourth and fifth all-around with scores of 36.3, 35.65 and 34.3, respectively.

Buechel was third on vault (9.3), bars (9.1) and floor (9.0), while taking fifth on the beam with an 8.9. Grant and Hartwig tied for fourth on vault with 9.1s. Grant was fourth on beam (9.15), bars (8.8) and floor (8.6). Hartwig tied for second on the beam with a 9.3 and was fifth on floor (8.2) and bars (7.7). Their team score was 106.25.

Aurelia Brushaber, Adalynn Foster and Kree Doriot teamed up to win the Level 4 championship with a total score of 105.45. Brushaber edged past Foster for third allaround, 35.45-35.3, and Doriot was fifth at 34.7. Foster won the floor competition with a 9.3, was second on bars at 8.4, fourth on beam at 8.6 and tied for fourth on vault at 9.0. Doriot won the vault with her 9.3 and was fifth on floor (9.1), beam (8.3) and bars (8.0). Brushaber was third on the beam (9.05), fourth on the bars (8.2), tied for second on floor (9.2) and tied for fourth on vault (9.0).

Rainbow placed second behind Hub City, 110.35-107.65, in Level 2 competition.

Among gymnasts age 9 and up, Leona Botsford placed second all-around (36.1) and Claire Belter (36.0) was third. Botsford won the beam title with a 9.15, tied for secexercise ond on floor (9.05), tied for third on vault (9.0) and was fourth on bars (8.9). Belter won the floor with a 9.2, took second on bars (9.2) and vault (9.1) and was fourth on beam (8.5). Madison Baird earned 35.5 all-around points to place third in the 8 and under category. She was second on floor (9.1) and beam (8.65) and fourth on vault (9.0) and bars (8.8).

Rainbow’s 106.1 points in Level 3 competition put the team between first-place Hub City (111.6) and third-place Bay Area Gymnastics of Ashland (101.95). Tinley Hamm was second with 36.9 all-around points and Miranda Potocnik was third with 35.1 in the 9 and up division. Elia Bangart of Hub City won at 37.3. Hamm won the beam title with a 9.25, took second on bars (9.45) and vault (9.1) and was third on the floor at 9.1. Potocnik was third on bars (9.25) and beam (8.85) and fourth on vault (8.8) and floor (8.2). Myla Mallak was fourth out of six gymnasts in the 8 and under division with an all-around total of 34.1. She took third on bars with a 9.2, placed fourth on vault (8.8) and floor (8.7) and tied for fourth on the beam at 7.4.

Lillian Nemitz-Coleman earned 33.9 all-around points to place fourth in Xcel Gold competition. She was third on the vault with an 8.9, tied for third on bars at 9.0 and placed fourth on the floor (8.1) and beam (7.9).
