Greenwood and Loyal and encompasses the town of Beaver, town of Warner Ward 2 and town of Green Grove Ward 2.

District 18 Supervisor Bill Rueth has filed non-candidacy paperwork. Two people will run for his spot: Leonard Stoecker and Lance Hahn. The district includes the town of Loyal, town of Sherman Ward 1 and town of York Ward 2.

In District 20, incumbent Allen Krause Jr. will face Riley Ashbeck. The district includes the town of Fremont Ward 2 and town of Lynn Ward 1 (rural Chili and Spencer).

For District 28, incumbent William Neville will run against Heather Sullivan. This district is located in the southwestern most part of the county, including the Humbird and Hatfield areas. It includes the town of Dewhurst, town of Sherwood, town of Mentor and town of Levis Ward 2.

Marathon County Board of Supervisors

Fourteen of 38 Marathon County supervisory districts will feature contested races in the April 2 election. Ten incumbents have decided not to run for reelection, but at least one candidate from each district will appear on the ballot.

District 1: John Kroll and Ken Tokarz, both of Wausau, will face off for a seat being vacated by incumbent Michelle Van Krey.

District 3: Incumbent Kody Hart, Wausau, will face a challenge from Jo Ann Egelkrout, Wausau.

District 5: Incumbent Gary Gisselman, Wausau, will face a challenge from Orlando Alfonso, Wausau.

District 6: Incumbent Stacey Morache, Wausau, will face a challenge from Jeff Johnson, Wausau.

District 7: Deb Hoppa and Alex Eichten, both from Wausau, will square off for a seat being vacated by incumbent Becky Buch.

District 9: Chantelle Foote, Wausau, is running unopposed for a seat being vacated by incumbent David Overbeck, Wausau.

District 10: Incumbent Donna Krause, Wausau, will face a challenge from Randy Radtke, Wausau.

District 11: Randy DeBroux and Bruce Trueblood, both of Wausau, will sqaure off for a seat being vacated by incumbent Alyson Leahy.

District 14: Incumbent Rick Seefeldt, Elderon, will face a challenge from Ken Charneski, Kronenwetter.

District 15: Incumbent Joel Straub, Kronenwetter, will face a challenge from Randy Fifrick and Alexander Vedvik, both of Kronenwetter.

District 16: Incumbent Tony Sherfinski, Schofield, will face a challenge from Bill Conway, Schofield.

District 18: Jay J. Schoenborn, Schofield, will run unopposed for a seat being vacated by Craig McEwen, board vicechair.

District 23: Incumbent David Baker will face a challenge from Chris Voll, Kronenwetter District 24: Brent Jacobson, Mosinee, will run unopposed for a seat being vacated by Crystal Bushman.

District 28: Wayne Hagen, Spencer, will run unopposed for a seat being vacated by incumbent Dennis Gonnering.

District 30: Jordan Reynolds, Unity, will run unopposed for a seat being vacated by incumbent Andrew Venzke, Abbotsford.

District 32: Board chairman Kurt Gibbs, Marathon, will face a challenge from Cindy Beaty, Marathon.

District 36: Scott Poole and Frederick C. Schaefer, both of Wausau, will square off for a seat being vacated by incumbent Bruce Lamont.

District 38: Brandon Jensen and Jonathan D. Fisher, both of Wausau, will square off for a seat being vacated by incumbent Bobby Niemeyer.
