St. Mary School to host silent art auction

The St. Mary School CHSA (Christian Home & School Association) is hosting a silent art auction, “Art Extravaganza”, at St. Mary School on Friday, April 28, 2023. This event is focused to showcase talents of St. Mary School students while gathering business leaders, community members, and art enthusiasts together for a night of fun and relaxation.

The children of the school will be creating artwork that reflects the theme “All God’s Creations.” This ‘adults only’ event will be open to family members of school children, community members and area business leaders. All are invited to attend the adult night out for some art, socializing, wine, cheese & hors d’oeuvres. Event registration will be from 5:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. During the event, all will have the opportunity to view and bid on original student artwork from all grade levels (4K-8th grade).

The original artwork will be available to the highest bidder. All bidding will be closed by 7:30 p.m. Winners will be announced that evening with collection of payment and art distribution. Funds raised by “Art Extravaganza” will be used to support leadership education and school expenses, such as playground and gym equipment, busing and field trip expenses, classroom supplies, music equipment, facilities maintenance, and expanding the robotics program.
