“They changed their blocking scheme a bit,” Rosemeyer said. “Paul would just hand off, but Anderson would just keep and the other running back with him would be a lead blocker. That’s not something we were expecting because we thought the other kid would be quarterback. They’re a little more versatile this way and he throws the ball well enough. He probably scrambles better. They do have some good receivers that can catch the ball. They put you in some one-onone spots and made some plays. They got behind us a couple of times. Credit to them and it’s something we have to keep working on.”
Duellman had 13 total tackles and recovered a fumble for Gilman’s defense in the win. Keepers, who got more time with Gilman’s trying to account for the Hornets’ passing scheme had 12 tackles and Marion had eight.
