Class of 1963 holds 60th class reunion

Thirty-six classmates along with 24 guests met on September 9th at BS Bar and Catering. After a fun time, reminiscing with fellow classmates and guests, trying to figure out who each of us are after all these years, Terry Peterson, our Emcee for the evening led us in a brief program commemorating our 60th reunion.

Terry thanked everyone for coming and thanked the planning committee for all their time, energy and hard work in putting this all together. Our committee this year consisted of Donna Sperl Seidel, Karen Pernsteiner Frosch and Kay Resech Ludwig.

Figuring out who came the farthest and who lived the closest along with remembering the popular songs and news events of 1963 proved that our brains were not as sharp as they once were.

On a more somber note, we took a moment of silence or prayer to remember the 61 colleagues that have passed away. Kay Ludwig read the list. She also read a few letters from classmates who could not make it. Carol Gelhaus and Carol Czarnezki Way led us in the class song and the school Alma Mater.

A delicious meal served by the BS Bar and Catering staff was enjoyed by all Including a Red Raider decorated cake and ice cream.
