Plans for a new Northcentral Technical College campus in Medford passed a key hurdle Monday night.

Members of the Medford planning commission voted to approve a land division at the proposed NTC location on Progressive Avenue and CTH O and a site plan for the new campus.

“Once we get past this design stage everything will be in place for us to start,” said Chris Ghidorzi of Ghidorzi Construction. The company has purchased the land under a developer’s agreement with the city with plans to build a 12,470 square foot campus building. The company will then enter into a long-term lease with NTC for the campus.
