Robert R. Storch

1930-2023

Robert R. “Bob” Storch, age 92, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023. He was born on July 12, 1930 to Raymond and Gladys (Meschefske) Storch in Little Black. Bob was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and had been attending Trinity Lutheran Church. Prior to 1988, he worked as a teacher for Muskegon Public Schools - Oakview Elementary. Bob enjoyed woodworking, built his home and was an accomplished concertina player, even playing to his final days on earth.

Survivors include son, Mark (Sherri) Storch; former wife and mother of sons, Mark and Brian (deceased), Betty Shadrick; grandsons, Michael (girlfriend, Morgan) Storch, Matthew (girlfriend, Brianna) Storch, Joseph Storch and longtime companion, Margaret Hulka.

Bob was also preceded in death by brothers, Kenny and Jerry Storch.

A Funeral Service for Bob was held 2 p.m., Thursday, March 9, at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave, Muskegon, Ml 49442 with Pastor Paul Appold officiating. Visitation with the family was an hour prior to the service. Memorials can be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church.
