How do you define a company’s worth?
How do you judge or identify a company’s value or worth? By its net revenues? Star ratings? Or perhaps a better measurement might be its commitment and involvement in making your community, your world, a better place?
Growth and stability of the communities and people it serves are priorities of Prevail Bank, a Wisconsin-based bank with nine branches located in Baraboo, Eau Claire, Owen, Medford, Phillips, Wisconsin Rapids, Marshfield, Stevens Point, and Wausau Wisconsin. During 2022, Prevail Bank donated $130,000 to 20 local nonprofits, plus an additional $126,000 that supported local events and festivals.
Prevail Bank’s commitment is demonstrated not only through giving and investments, but also through the empowerment given to its employees to get involved in organizations they are passionate about. Volunteered time that takes place during the workday is reimbursed; up to 8 hours is paid. During 2022, 129 employees reported 2,330 volunteer hours (or 291 days of labor) given to a local organization that is important to them. Some of those organizations included People Helping People, The Community Table, Big Brothers Big Sisters, domestic abuse shelters, Junior Achievement, and numerous Lions Clubs, Kiwanis Clubs, United Ways, Boys & Girls Clubs, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and youth sports.
“In more ways than one, Prevail Bank lives and breathes the tagline, ‘We’re here to lend a hand’,” said Prevail Bank President, Nathan Quinnell. “I am extremely proud of this organization and the dedication of our employees. Together, we’re making our communities a better place to live, play, and prosper.”
