dividual event winners. She claimed first in the 100-yard freestyle, posting a time of 1:06.80. Colby-Abby also took second and third in the event that saw the most entries, with Hazel Flink taking second with a time of 1:18.53 and McKinley Meyer not far behind her with a time of 1:20.69. Jakel also finished second behind Boyer in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:29.56.

Other second place finishes included Flink in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 35.13, Cihlar in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:20.08, Hailey Meyer in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 7:24.15, and the relay of Schraufnagel, Krause, Graun and McKinley Meyer in the 200-yard medley.

These results should serve as a confidence boost to a still relatively small and young Colby-Abby team as they head into a tougher part of their schedule.

The Colby-Abby team will host another dual meet against Antigo this coming Thursday, September 15. It is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. and will once again be held in the Colby high school pool.
