Foundation’s golf tournament benefits Aspirus Medford patients
The Aspirus Medford Foundation’s charitable golf tournament and fundraising event helped raise funds that will be used to heal people, promote health, and strengthen the communities Aspirus Medford serves.
“Over $20,000 was raised,” said Brent Arndt, Aspirus Medford Foundation board director and annual event chair. “Our major sponsors helped make that a reality, in addition to 26 golf teams, volunteers who assisted and over 100 businesses who contributed.”
Findorff was the event sponsor along with 11 other platinum sponsors: AbbyBank, Canteen Vending and Refreshment Services (Oshkosh); Marathon Cheese Corporation; Medford Cooperative; Nestle Pizza Division; Nicolet National Bank; Perrin’s Surface Solutions LLC; Pieper Power/Systems Technologies (Merrill); Sierra Pacific Windows and Foundation; and Weather Shield Windows and Doors. Forward Bank was a gold sponsor. The contributions of these sponsors help to ensure that patients of Aspirus Medford Hospital and Clinics continue to have access to stateof- the-art medical equipment and compassionate care. Following a beautiful day of golf, blind flighting determined the results: In flight one, the Prevail Bank (Arndt) team was the winner, with Gowey Abstract and Title Company placing second. Mayer and Associates won the second flight with Weather Shield Windows and Doors taking second. Per Mar Security Services won the third flight, while the Aspirus Health Plan team was second.
Len Hamman was the grand prize winner of five Green Bay Packers tickets. Cash prizes for second ($300), third ($200) and fourth ($100) place were awarded as well.
“This fun outing raises money for the benefit of our local communities and the health and wellness of our friends, families and neighbors,” said Amanda Lange, Director of Community Benefits and Foundation for Aspirus Medford.
