Stratford Elementary School will hold its Christmas concerts this Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 9 a.m. for 4K through second grades and at 1:30 p.m. for third through fifth grades.
St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Stratford’s Christmas concert is at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16, in the church. The Christmas concert dress rehearsal is at 1 p.m. the same day.
The Stratford middle/high school Christmas concerts are on Sunday, Dec. 19. The middle school concert is at 1:30 p.m. and the high school concert is at 3 p.m.

Stratford Middle School has announced its honor roll for the first quarter of the 2021-22 school year.

Fitness center hours
The Stratford High School fitness center is open from 4:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. on Monday thru Sunday, but the fitness center is closed from 12:30-1:30 p.m. each weekday for cleaning; it’s not closed an hour on Saturdays and Sundays for cleaning.
Stratford School District residents need to visit the high school office to get their keyfob updated before they’ll be able to gain access into the fitness center.
Book Club
The public is welcome to visit the Marathon County Public Library’s Stratford Branch at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 15, to take part in a lively Book Club discussion about author Kate Quinn’s new novel, “The Rose Code,” which is filled with spies and intrique.

COVID dashboard
Stratford Public Schools reported four positive cases of COVID-19 as of Dec. 6 out of 933 staff and students.
Two of the positive COVID- 19 cases are at Stratford middle/high school and two are at Stratford Elementary School.
Seventy-two Stratford staff and students have tested positive for COVID-19 since Sept. 1, 2021.
