Oakley J. Craig

Oakley J. Craig, 91, Holcombe, passed away Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.

Oakley was born May 8, 1930, the son of Oakley and Betty (Bloom) Craig, in Eau Claire.

He served in the U.S. Army and later was employed at the Cornell Paper Mill for over 40 years.

He is survived by his wife – Janice Craig; children – Randy (Sue) Kraus; Katrina (Jim) Young and Okello Craig; four grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; a sister – Beverly Russell; and by several nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents – Oakley and Betty Craig.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 29, at Borton-Leiser Funeral Home in Cornell, with Philip Wilder presiding. Visitation was held one hour prior to the services, Friday, at the funeral home.

Military honors followed the services at the funeral home. Interment was at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner.
