Two vehicles in parking lot

CRASH REPORTS

Barbara Orheim, 66, of Medford, was attempting to pull into a parking space, in a loaner vehicle, at the County Market parking lot, on February 11, at 3 p.m. Cimanna Deschler, 31, of Medford, was parked and unoccupied in the parking space across from Orheim. Orheim then pulled too far forward and came in contact with Deschler’s vehicle. Orheim stated that she was not used to the length of the vehicle. Orheim’s vehicle sustained no damage, and Deschler’s vehicle sustained damage to various areas along the passenger side half of the front bumper. There was some damage to the affected area that Orheim said was there before and it was hard to determine what damage was new and old.

Justin Smith, 31, of Medford, was trying to pull into a parking space on the opposite side of Kevin Yang, 26, of Weston, on February 8, at 5:30 p.m., in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Smith bumped into the front passenger bumper area of Yang’s vehicle with his front bumper, causing damage to the finish of Yang’s vehicle.

The following car vs. deer accidents were reported: Joshua James Meyer, 37, of Medford, on CTH E, in the town of Hammel, on February 16, at 6:15 p.m.; Bonnie Jean Thielke, 53, of Curtiss, on CTH E, in the town of Little Black, on February 19, at 7:05 p.m.

Jamie Leigh Hinz, 19, of Bloomington, MN, was traveling eastbound on CTH M near Illman Dr., on February 19, at 6:38 a.m., when when she hit a patch of ice, lost control of the vehicle and entered the ditch. There was minor damage to the front bumper. Speed too fast for conditions, was a factor in the accident.

April Dawn Hudak, 34, of Medford, was traveling southbound on Hwy 13, in the town of Deer Creek, on February 16, at 7:52 a.m. when she went into the east ditch. Hudak’s vehicle hit a road sign, and rolled over four times coming to a rest on the driver’s side. Hudak stated that she lost control due to icy road conditions. The vehicle was towed due to disabling damage.

Cheryl Kaye Purdy, 75, of Medford, was attempting to negotiate the Wheeler’s parking lot, on February 21, at 10 a.m., in the city of Medford. While attempting to do so, Purdy struck the concrete pier supporting a light pole, causing damage to the passenger side bumper and grill of Purdy’s vehicle.
