Charges dismissed

Michael S. Cimarusti, 57, of Long Grove, Ill., pled not guilty to two counts of failing to maintain septic tanks, both charges were dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

Edward William Rusch, 69, of Withee, pled not guilty to trespassing. Charge was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

David Allen Alexander, 39, of Medford pled no contest to misdemeanor bail-jumping, amended from felony bail-jumping. Sentence was withheld and a probation of one year was ordered. Alexander must submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department and undergo counseling as deemed appropriate by probation. Costs of $443 shall be paid directly to the Taylor County Clerk of Court at the rate of $75/month beginning on March 1. Charge of operating while revoked was dismissed but read in court, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

Makayla R. Crow, 23, of Antigo, pled no contest to disorderly conduct-domestic abuse (infliction of physical pain or injury). Crow shall submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office. The costs of $543 shall be paid as follows: $200 due February 7, and the balance to be paid at the rate of $50/month beginning on March 1. A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed but read in court.

Carlos Geremias Gomez Soriano, 29, of Medford, pled no contest to OWI (2nd with passenger <16 years old). License was revoked for 26 months, and upon licensure reinstatement, an ignition interlock system will be installed for 1 year. Soriano shall submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department and undergo an AODA and comply with the driver safety plan. The fine and costs of $2,044 shall be paid $100/month beginning March 1. The jail sentence of 27 days shall begin no later than April 7, at 4:30 p.m.

Charges of speeding in 55 mph zone (11-15 mph over), operating while revoked (revocation due to alcohol/ controlled substance/refusal), operating with PACpassenger <16 years old (2nd offense), and a violation of child safety restraint requirements-child 4 years but less than 8 years (2nd within 3 years) were dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

James L. Penoyer, 57, of Sheldon pled no contest to improper parking on roadway. This charge was amended from impeding traffic by slow speed. He was ordered to pay a forfeiture of $164.50.

Christina M. Podevels, 43, of Abbotsford, pled no contest to exceeding speed zones (11-15 mph over). Charge was amended from exceeding speed zones (16-19 mph). She was ordered to pay a forfeiture of $175.30.

Connor D. Skabroud, 22, of Sheldon, pled no contest to a charge of 2nd degree sexual assault of a child. He entered a deferred prosecution agreement for a period of 3 years. Upon completion of this agreement, the state will move to dismiss the charge.

Skabroud pled no contest and was found guilty of 4th degree sexual assault. Sentence was withheld and a probation of 1 year was issued. Skabroud must submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department and have no contact with the victim. The costs of $443 shall be paid directly to the Taylor County Clerk of Court at the rate of $100/month beginning March 1.

Jakob L. Wickersheim, 24, of Medford pled no contest to possession of THC (2nd + offense). Sentence was withheld and a probation of 1 year was ordered. Wickersheim must submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department and undergo counseling as deemed appropriate by probation. A bond of $250 is applied towards total cost of $518. The remaining costs are to be paid directly to the Taylor County Clerk of Courts office at the rate of $50/month beginning March 1. Charges of possession drug paraphernalia and felony bail-jumping were dismissed but read in court.

Nickolas G. Frenzel, 18, of Medford pled no contest to sexual contact with child under age 15, actor under 19. Frenzel entered into a deferred prosecution agreement of 9 months and is to have no contact with the victim. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the state will move to dismiss the charge.

Armando Bonilla, 29, of Curtiss, pled guilty to operating while revoked (revocation due to alcohol/control substance/refusal). Bonilla shall submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department. He shall pay the costs of $443, at the rate of $100/month beginning February 18. A charge of operating a motor vehicle without insurance was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.
