Gerald “Jerry” Keith Jablonowski

1948-2022

Gerald “Jerry” Keith Jablonowski, 73, of Rib Lake, passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 28, 2022. Visitation will be at the Max A. Sass & Sons Westwood Chapel (W173S7629 Westwood Dr., Muskego) on Saturday, Feb. 12, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at 11 a.m. To express online condolences please visit maxsass.com.

He was born July 17, 1948, to the late Audrey (Kurtz) and Stanley Jablonowski.

Jerry was a Milwaukee native who graduated from Bay View High School in 1966. After high school he was drafted into the U.S. Marines Corps, where he proudly served as a corporal in the 3rd Marine division from 1966-69. He served a tour of duty in Vietnam as a gunner on an Ontos tank and was stationed in Okinawa, Bangkok and Vietnam. Before his honorable discharge, he completed a certified drafting program.

Jerry was employed at Allen Bradley/Rockwell as a punch press machinist for nearly 30 years before retiring in 2008. He made lifelong friendships with his team who beloved him as one of the three amigos. Jerry was an honest, genuine man who made friends everywhere he went and loved to make people laugh. He had an infectious smile that would light up a room. In his spare time, he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing. He also loved woodworking, bowling, music and dancing.

Jerry is survived by his children, Brian (Maggie) Jablonowski, Gregg (Lisa) Jablonowski, Dawn (James) Shepherd, Nicole Jablonowski, Chris (Jennifer) Machlan, Jeff (Jackie) Jablonowski as well as grandchildren Tyler, Amari, Gavin, Gianna, Joshua, Conor, Oliver, Sara, Aiden, Kaiya, Lauren, Addison and Mason. He is further survived by his sister, Maryann Laskowski.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqie; brother, Richard; and sister, Bev.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Renaissance Senior Living for the compassion and care they provided for Jer Bear over the past several years.
