Library Love Story
Here is a chance to help the Colby Community Library (CCL). Your library story is powerful. Tell your short or long story about your favorite thing to do at the library, how the library has helped you out this year, or what keeps you coming to the library.
We will share Library Love Stories with our elected officials on Library Legislative Day and use your comments to shape our programs and services.Visit the Colby Community Library website and fill out the simple form or pick up a paper copy to fill out and return to the library. (You may choose to give your name or remain anonymous with your comments.)
From Page to Film Lovebooks? Lovemovies? Whatwould be better than a book and movie combo! Visit the Colby Community Library and step into the RCU Community Room to select a movie/book pack. Check out the combo and receive a ticket.
Fill in your name and phone number and place the ticket in the popcorn bucket of your choice to win pairs of cinema passes for Broadway Theater in Medford, Rogers Cinema in Marshfield, or Marcus Cedar Creek Cinema in Rothschild. Winners in the drawing will be notified Tuesday, March 1.
Take and Makes
There are a variety of free take and make Valentine crafts ready for youth and their families to enjoy. Pick up a different one each time you visit the CCL.
Passport Challenge
The CCL is offering a year-long Passport Reading and Movie challenge for adults. Only ten books or movies mentioning different countries are required for each passport. Check out books or movies at the CCL to be eligible for Abby/ Colby Chamber certificates or gift cards in the year-end drawing. The more passports completed throughout the year, the more chances of winning. The drawing will be December 30, 2022.
