The board decided to trade-in their present lawn mower for a new one.
The board agreed to look at plans by the American Legion to place a monument on the island.
Treasurer Alex Pinter was given the okay and changed the banking to Forward Bank.
The meeting adjourned and was followed by the annual meeting.
The 54th annual meeting, conducted by Ron Robida, opened at 7 p.m. There were ten park members present.
Gene Piessig, Dennis Bach and Darrell Steen were reelected as board members.
A discussion was held on working toward having a ball league for the summer. Someone is needed to organize the ball teams, maintain the field and run the concession stand as Ron Robida has retired from that duty. No action was taken at this time.
Membership dues are presently due for the year 2022. They remain $15 for singles and $20 for family. They may be paid to any board member.
Robida thanked Northwest Hardwoods, Bob’s Dairy, The Dorchester Foundation, Carolyn Golz, the Pickle Ball Girls, Grace Dietel-Ensign and members who volunteered to keep the park attractive.
Robida also cited the goals for the 2022 year as follows: Redo shelter #2, buy a new 0-turn lawn mower and build park membership.
The meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m. The group enjoyed cheese, sausage and crackers with beverages.
