1958-2022

Judy Marie Migacz (nee Luedke) age 64, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022 peacefully with family at her bedside while under hospice care at Aspirus Care and Rehab of Medford. Per Judy’s wishes, no services, internment at a later date. Judy was the seventh of nine children born on Feb. 16, 1958 to Rudolph and Doris Luedke of Prentice. She spent her early years in Prentice, and later moved with the family to Milwaukee. While there she met Henry Migacz whom she married after a short romance, the marriage was short lived. She worked at Marion Catholic Home and St. Joseph Hospital before returning to Prentice to care for her ailing mother.

Later in life she purchased a home in Medford that she was proud of and lived there with her brother William. Judy had a large extended family with many nieces and nephews that she doted on. She sewed quilts and crocheted dolls in her spare time. Judy had a big heart and liked to help others as she was able. She looked forward to making Christmas wreaths each season. Judy will be missed, but not forgotten.

She is survived by her sisters, Patricia Luedke of Milwaukee, Nancy (John) Schwartz of Plant City, Fla.; brothers Frederick (Darlene) Luedke of Tomah, Robert Luedke (Debra) of Port Washington, Otto Luedke (Wendy) of Cudahy, and William of Medford.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne and Edward Luedke; father, Rudolph Luedke; and mother, Doris Scott Luedke.
