Jerry Knapp

1963-2021

Jerry Knapp, 58 of rural Gilman, died Dec. 24, 2021 at his home.

A joint funeral service was held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30 at the Gilman Funeral Home. Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. Following cremation inurnment will take place in the Donald Cemetery. He was born on March 7, 1963 to the late Gerald and Dorothy (Nowak) Knapp. Jerry grew up in the Gilman area and graduated from Gilman High. He eventually moved to the Waukesha area and was a Union Laborer for Tri County Builders, moving back to Gilman in 2015.

He enjoyed numerous outdoor activities; including hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and ATVing. Family was important to Jerry; always ending conversations with: “love ya.”

He is survived by his siblings, Randy Knapp of Chippewa Falls, David (Halina) Knapp of Beaver Dam, Marty (Randy) Williams of Gilman and Cecelia (Greg) Mohr of Rib Lake; and many nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, the Love of his life: Regine “Tutti” Lutherbach; his step daughter, Sadie Brazzoni; and on December 27 his brother, Bob; and nephew, Jon Grunseth.
