Robert A. Knapp

1961-2021

Robert A. Knapp, 60 of Gilman, died Monday, Dec. 27, 2021 at Aspirus Hospital-Medford with his family by his side. A joint funeral service was held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021 at the Gilman Funeral Home. Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. He was born on June 1, 1961 in Medford to the late Gerald and Dorothy (Nowak) Knapp. Bob grew up in the Gilman area and graduated from Gilman High. He went on to work as a Union Electrician for many years. Then, in 1996 Bob purchased the Tom and Jerry’s Tavern and Ballroom from his parents which he operated since.

He is survived by his son, Tanan (Jolene) Knapp of Lake Wissota; his grandson, Hudson Robert Knapp; his significant other, Suzie Oberle of Gilman; his siblings, Randy Knapp of Chippewa Falls, David (Halina) Knapp of Beaver Dam, Marty (Randy) Williams of Gilman and Cecelia (Greg) Mohr of Rib Lake; and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Jerry on December 24.
