Nancy Weikum
1952-2021
Nancy Weikum, age 69, of Woodville, Wis. died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2021 at Western Wisconsin Health in Baldwin.
Texas, and many places between. Nancy helped bring distant family close when she traveled to Norway. She loved taking pictures of nature while walking in her woods alone or with children and grandkids. Birds, deer, bears, and other critters were shot by her camera. She enjoyed walks along bodies of water, searching for the next special rock or piece of sea glass. Her love for words was evident in the captions of her pictures and the adventures she created for her little Viking.
Nancy loved her family and friends greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents; and second husband, Ron.
She is survived by children, Stacie Mandehr, Nathan Mandehr, Anne-Liv (Ryan) Crosby and Nikoline Mandehr, Robert (Jeanette) Weikum, Randy Weikum, Christy (Sidney) Larson; grandchildren, Heather, Shane, Shawn, Skyler, Eleanor, Catherine, Julia, Trapper, Sawyer, Savannah, Cody, Grace, Bethany, Ayden, Carson, and Mary; great-grandchildren: Xander, Ryleigh, Waelen, and Elijah; siblings, Diane (Jerry) Olson, David Hamland, Alvin Hamland and Richard (Lynn) Hamland; cousin, Bill Raster; many nieces; nephews; other relatives; friends; and the close family in distant Norway.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 16, 2022, from 12-4 p.m. at the Holway Town Hall, located at W8581 Co Rd A, Holway, WI.

Nancy was born March 13, 1952 to Austin and Hazel (Vagle) Hamland in Medford. She grew up on the family farm near Medford and attended Medford Schools, graduating with the Class of 1970. She worked at 3M in St. Paul where she met and married Richard Mandehr. They were blessed with 4 children, Stacie, Nathan, Anne-Liv, and Nikoline, along with Richard’s daughter Christy. The marriage ended in divorce.
The family lived in Woodville where Nancy started her career with the US Postal Service as a carrier for Woodville Post Office. She then worked at the distribution plant in Eau Claire before retiring in 2018.
On Aug. 28, 2004 Nancy was united in marriage to Ron Weikum at their home in Springfield Township by Pastor Keith Anderson. They considered each other soul mates.
Nancy loved exploring this beautiful country by car, learning its history, and enjoying out-of-the-way places. She drove to Alaska, New Jersey, Oregon,
