Dale V. Shamberg, 84, of Kenosha passed away peacefully of cancer on Dec. 24, 2021. Funeral services and military honors for Dale will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 3, 2022 at the Piasecki Funeral Home. Interment will be held privately. A visitation for Dale will be held on Monday, Jan. 3 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Dale was born in Rib Lake on Feb. 1, 1937 to Alvin J. and Elsie Mae (Ivacic) Shamberg. He served in the Army and was stationed in Germany. He was employed with American Motors/Chrysler for 41 years. On July 31, 1965, he married the love of his life Stella M. Sieminski at the Blessed Virgin Catholic Church in Chelsea. Together they raised three children, David, Greg and Kim.

He loved to watch and attend many events that his grandchildren and great-grandchildren had. He was an active bowler at Sheridan Lanes, and avid horseshoe player at Parkview and loved golfing daily at Muni Golf Course.

Dale will sadly be missed by his wife of 56 years, Stella Shamberg; his children, David Shamberg of Valders, Greg (Sue) Shamberg of Kenosha, and Kim (Larry) Sladek of Pleasant Prairie; his six grandchildren, Jamie Shamberg, Ryne (Andrea) Shamberg, Dayna (Joshua) Rose, Chelsea, Zachary, and Kayla Sladek; his three great-grandchildren, Paisley, Journey and Elliott who he loved dearly; his two sisters, Donna Wanta of Weston, and Betsy Richard of Bloomingdale, Ill.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and his beloved dog Rocky.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Hospice Alliance for the compassionate, kind, and loving care they provided Dale.
