Patricia (Patty) Mary Prell

1937-2021

Patricia (Patty) Mary Prell, 84, a resident of Bullhead City, Ariz. passed away on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in honor of both Patricia and Gerald Prell. She was born to Herbert and Mary Westrich on Nov. 2, 1937 in Medford and was a native of Medford until moving to Oregon in 1978 for her work in the U.S. Forest Service.

She retired from the U.S. Forest Service in 1999 and moved to Bullhead City, Ariz. with her husband, Gerald (Jerry), in 2005. Patty’s interests were varied, including spending time with her large family, keeping up with current events, singing, and attending shows.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Prell (Debbra) of Ore. and Kent Prell (Debra) of Va.; three daughters, Debra Warnock (Dan) of Ore., DeAnne Young (Dale) of Va., and Jeryl Prell of Ore.; one brother, Kenneth Westrich of Minn.; and 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren (with one on the way in April 2022).

Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald (2017); and daughter, Barbara.

Patty was a beautiful, loving, and intelligent woman; mother; grandmother; and great-grandmother, who will be deeply missed and affectionately remembered.
