Marion J. Glenzer, age 90, of Rib Lake, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021 while under the care of her family and Hope Hospice. A graveside service was held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 3 at Lakeview Cemetery, Rib Lake with Pastor Dave Clements officiating. A celebration of life will be held at a later

She is survived by her children, Laurie (Michael) Floyd of Ogema, David Glenzer of Rib Lake, Mark (Vickey) Glenzer of Ojibwa; siblings, James Hein of Milwaukee area, Shirley Kauer of Rib Lake, Kathleen Horvat of Oconto Falls, Jackie Mitchell of Rib Lake, Linda (Victor) Bauer of Eagle River; grandchildren, Jesse (Nicole) Glenzer, Desiree (Eric) Wojcik, Holly (Shawn) Steinke, April (Jake) Otten, Katie (Matt) Fuhrman, Maria (Maynard) Stange, Brandon Floyd; great-grandchildren, Coralee, Camryn, Aiden, Zach, Zavier, Calista, Keeley, Isaac, Myriah, Evelyn, Owen, Jaxon, Eli, Jasmine, Megan, Skyler, Remi, Rowan, Hennessey, Felicia, Tristen, Ava and Addison; special nephew, Joe Kauer; and special friends, Jean Frishman and Barbara (Rick) Berger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bud in 1996; son, Mitchell Glenzer; grandson, Bradley Schreiner; granddaughter, Jennifer Miller; brother, Donald Hein; sister, Patricia DeVerney; sister-in-law, Barbara Hein; brothers-in-law, Clayton Kauer and Alfons Mitchell.

She was born Jan. 14, 1931 in Rib Lake to Robert and Louise (Nickel) Hein. She graduated from Eagle River High School in 1949, then moved back to the Rib Lake area.
On Sept. 22, 1956, she married Vilas “Bud” Glenzer. They resided in Rib Lake, and Marion worked at Gem Products as a sewing machine operator for 30 years.
Marion was a former 4H leader, and she enjoyed gardening, reading, writing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She was also a dedicated member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Rib Lake and served in many capacities including teaching Sunday
