The menu for the month of December has been announced for the Senior Dining Centers of the Taylor County Commission on Aging. Persons 60 years and older and spouse, regardless of age, are welcome to participate in the noon meals.

In Jump River, meals are served at noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Jump River Community Center. In Medford, meals are served at noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at the Medford Senior Dining Center. In Gilman, meals are served at noon Monday through Thursday at the Gilman Senior Center. Meals are served in Goodrich at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays at Royal Gaits Arena & Stables. In Stetsonville, meals are served at noon on Tuesday and Thursday at the Centennial Community Center. Meals are served at the Rib Lake Senior Center. In Westboro, meals are served at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday at the VFW Hall. Reservations must be made one day in advance by 2 p.m. Any questions, please call Commission on Aging at 715-748-1491.

Week of December 1— Wednesday, Ham & Scalloped potato casserole, peas, pineapple, multi-grain bread, chocolate pudding; Thursday, Chicken wild rice casserole, garlic green beans, pickled beets, wheat bread, apple cake; Friday, Beef tips with mushrooms and noodles, carrots, 12-grain bread, diced pears, cinnamon applesauce.

Week of December 6— Monday, Lemon pepper fish, twice baked mashed potato, broccoli salad, wheat bread, spice cake; Tuesday, Chicken breast, Mac & Cheese, Brussels sprouts, wheat dinner roll, mandarin oranges, bananas and vanilla pudding; Wednesday, Beef vegetable stew, biscuit, whole kernel corn, cold pickled beets, cookie; Thursday, Turkey tetrazzini, carrots, lettuce/ spinach salad, wheat roll, pears; Friday, Swiss steak, mashed potatoes, baked beans, bread, ambrosia fruit salad.

Week of December 13— Monday, Chicken broccoli casserole, Pacific veggie blend, wheat bread, grape juice, strawberries, raspberries & yogurt; Tuesday, Seasoned baked fish, parsley buttered, potatoes, red cabbage, rye bread, and banana; Wednesday, Chicken breast, mushroom & bacon sauce, brown & wild rice, winter squash, apple slices, and brownie; Thursday, Ham on marble rye with leaf lettuce & tomato slice, hearty bean soup, pear slices, cookie; Friday, Italian Rigatoni casserole, green beans, romaine salad, garlic breadstick, carrot cake.

Week of December 20— Monday, Pulled pork on a bun, scalloped potatoes, creamy coleslaw, honey bee fruit salad; Tuesday, Garlic parmesan chicken breast, seasoned potatoes, 3-bean salad, wheat dinner roll, sliced pears; Wednesday, roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, squash, multi-grain bread, Christmas cake; Thursday, spaghetti & meat sauce, mixed greens and dressing, garlic breadsticks, mandarin oranges, pineapple cake; Friday, CLOSED FOR THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY.

Week of December 27— Monday, CLOSED FOR CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY, Tuesday, sloppy Joe on a bun, roasted potatoes, baked beans, grape salad; Wednesday, Beef stroganoff, mashed potatoes, broccoli & caulifl ower, biscuit, beetnik chocolate cake; Thursday, Tuna noodle casserole, peas, rye bread, diced fruit mix, oatmeal raisin cookie; Friday, CLOSED FOR NEW YEARS HOLIDAY.
