One car collision


CRASH REPORTS
Delmar W. Dassow, 75, of Stetsonville, was traveling southbound on Hwy 13, on November 24, at 5:50 p.m, in the town of Little Black. Dassow was trying to get to the recycling plant on the east side of the road, but did not want to make a left hand turn due to traffic. So he decided to continue southbound to the driveway at W1039 Hwy 13. Dassow went to make a right hand turn and missed the driveway. There was functional damage to the front of the vehicle. Vehicle had to be pulled out of the ditch, but was driven from the scene by the driver.
Ryan Allen Achterberg, 29, of Stratford, was traveling southbound on 8th St., on November 18, at 6 p.m., in the city of Medford. Eryka Ann Seidel, 16, of Medford, was attempting a left turn onto Broadway Ave. Achterberg had a green light, while Seidel had a yellow left turn arrow. Seidel attempted the left turn late and Achterberg was not able to stop in time, causing his vehicle to hit the rear passenger side corner of Seidel’s rear bumper with the front passenger side bumper. This caused damage to the front bumper and passenger headlight of Achterberg’s vehicle and the rear bumper of Seidel’s vehicle. A citation of failure to yield while making a left turn was issued to Seidel.
Thomas Michael Rusch, 78, of Rib Lake, had gone through the McDonald’s drive through, and his car was legally parked and occupied, on November 23, at 11:12 a.m., in the city of Medford. Rusch was instructed by staff to pull ahead and stop in their current position and wait for their order. Robert Arthur Schroeder, 85, of Medford, was leaving the McDonald’s drive through. While exiting, Schroeder did not navigate around Rusch’s vehicle and Schroeder struck the rear of Rusch’s vehicle
The following car versus deer accidents were reported: Tena Marie Bolstad, 50, of Madison, on November 23, at 5 p.m., on Hwy 64, in the town of Grover; Esther J. Frischmann, 67, of Medford, on November 23, at 5:13 p.m., on CTH M, in the town of Pershing; Maryanne Marie Reichert, 42, of Ogema, on CTH D, in the town of Rib Lake.
