Dianne M. Fliehs, age 79, of Rib Lake, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau. A celebration of life for Dianne Fliehs will be held on Saturday, Sept. 11, at Zondlo’s Ballroom in Rib Lake from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., with a meal served at 2 p.m. with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Lorie (Doug Rabitoy) Miller, of Rib Lake; her stepchildren, Joy (Rob Lamberty) Hoff, of Medford, Grace (Darrin) Fritsch, of Westboro, Julie (John) Lemke, of Medford, Harold Fliehs, Jr., of Rib Lake; and her grandchildren, Curtis (Stacy Parker) Quednow, of Rib Lake, and Jessica (Jason) Ernest, of Glidden. She is further survived by seven step-grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; her sister, Sue Gutowski; and her sisters-in-law, Diane (Richard) Rorabaugh, Sylvia Blumenstein, Eva Fliehs, and Delores Scheithauer; in addition to many nieces and nephews.

Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Irene; her husband, Harold; her daughter, Mary Hilbert; her sister, Mary Ann Karstaedt; her sons-in-law, Dave Miller and Michael Hoff, Sr.; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Karstaedt, Dave Gutowski, Lester Fliehs, Marvin Scheithauer, and Marvin Blumenstein.

Dianne was born in Sturgeon Bay, on Feb. 20, 1942, to the late Raymond and Irene (Mathy) Blish. She was married to Harold Fliehs on Jan. 28, 1994; he passed away on March 2, 2021.

Dianne was employed at Gem Products and Ed’s IGA, both in Rib Lake. Her passions were reading, playing cribbage, and poker machines. She was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching baseball and the Green Bay Packers. Dianne loved attending the Spirit Twins baseball games with “daddy”, Harold Fliehs.
