Arlene D. Reiter, age 95, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away Monday, Aug. 23, 2021 at Arborview Court in Wisconsin Rapids.

of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids for 70 years, where she served as a member of the Rebecca Circle and volunteered for a local food pantry. She loved spending time “Up North” during the summers at the cottage on Solberg Lake. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends.

Arlene is survived by two children, Lyn (Scott) Hente of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Brian (Fran) Reiter of Beaver Dam; one son-in- law, Richard Vollert; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur; daughter, Lori Vollert; grandson, Louis Vollert; and two brothers.

The family would like to thank the staff at Renaissance Assisted Living, Arborview Court, and Heartland Hospice for the loving care they provided for Arlene. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 30 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Dr. Carlton Andersen will officiate. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at church.

Arlene was born Jan. 31, 1926 in Stetsonville to Emil and Marie (Ivacek) Harder. She married Arthur Reiter on April 19, 1947. Arlene was a faithful member Paid Obituary 109679
