Objects to pronoun changes in school board policies

In the August 5 edition of The Star News, we are given a report of policy change at Medford Schools. The changes are coming at a fast pace. Right now the most disturbing is changing the use of he and she to, “they” “them” and “their.”
These people, who are suppose to educate the children, are indeed destroying their very minds. In my opinion, they are taking our boys and girls to place of confusion. You talk about mental health. How much more disturbing to anyone, especially a child to not know if they are a boy or girl.
“Somepoliciesareveryhistorical”saidNuernberger. What is more historical than he, and she. Your words show how unneeded and foolish these changes are. This language makes the policy more damaging, for our children.
Wibben said “She would play around with the policies for the next meeting.” You people have played around long enough. Please get back to teaching. You are destroying the minds of our children.
Dixon said “He wants Joe-average citizen to understand this policy.” Joe average citizen can ask to have it explained. But when you indoctrinate the child, so he or she doesn’t know what they are, they are confused for life.
I quote “Policy AD covers the district’s educational philosophy and their vision and mission statement.” In my opinion it is so obvious. If they know it or not it is to destroy our children’s minds so they can be controlled and lead them around, having no mind of their own.
I would pray that the school board would stop these indoctrinating changes.
I have said in the past, and I will urge you again, take your children out of the public school system. This again is an example and I quote from The Star News. This is our philosophy, vision and mission. No doubt where this is headed. — Charlie Heath, Medford
